Golfzon Social is the powerhouse collaboration of Golfzon, the global leader in golf-simulator technology, and Troon, the world leader in golf-related hospitality management. The ultimate destination for sports enthusiasts and fun-seekers alike, it’s where cutting-edge indoor golf and games meet unparalleled social engagement.

How We Fit In

RealFood was brought in to develop the food and beverage aspects of the new-to-market eatertainment concept. Our role included the design of a prototype kitchen engineered for future scalability and the development of a guest experience tailored for high-energy, social consumption.

Strategic Framework

With ownership’s goal of rapid scaling, RealFood set out to develop a kitchen concept designed for agility. We focused on a model that could adapt to various future footprints, minimize construction costs and maximize operational efficiency.

Applying the same thinking to the menu, our goal was to engineer a menu that supported the desired convivial atmosphere while consistently executed across multiple markets.

Pencil to Paper

RF designers opted for a ventless equipment solution. By eliminating complex buildout requirements, like a hood and fire suppression system, this gave Golfzon Social a competitive edge in real estate selection.

The vector oven technology also removed the human variant of food preparation, making it easier to achieve food consistency and reduce training time across locations.

For the menu, we leaned on the social mission with an emphasis was on snackable, shareable plates. The beverage program was designed for group enjoyment, featuring buckets of beer and large-format cocktails.

When it came time to market the opening, the RealFood branding team jumped in to manage and coordinate an RFP process for Golfzon’s future marketing partner.

In the End

The first Golfzon Social location earned 120+ five-star reviews in the first six months of opening…with zero complaints about food.

Its ventless kitchen design has led to lower labor and training costs, and the high-energy eatertainment model has hit its stride. As Golfzon continues to expand, RealFood provides on-going advisory and design adjustments for new sites.
