The Brackish Bar & Lounge at Sun City

Situated within the landmark $50+ million amenity expansion at Sun City Hilton Head, The Brackish Bar & Lounge is the centerpiece of the newly unveiled Spanish Moss Hall. Named for the Lowcountry phenomenon where freshwater rivers meet the salty sea, this indoor-outdoor poolside dining destination is designed to be the ultimate social hub for residents and guests.

How We Fit In

As part of a massive initiative to elevate resident life, RealFood partnered with Del Webb and the homeowners’ association (SCHHCA) to provide comprehensive managed services for the food and beverage operations at The Brackish Bar & Lounge. From the strategic pre-opening phase to initial launch and daily operations, the RealFood managed services team oversees every facet of the foodservice business.

The Task at Hand

RealFood brings the food and beverage brains to the operation, acting as the de facto Director of Operations (DOO) for The Brackish. From back-office functions and financial management to staffing, HR and facility maintenance, the RealFood team handles all the heavy lifting for the foodservice operation.

Our approach is rooted in discipline, balancing the guest experience with operational precision. We engineer the menu to keep offerings fresh and profitable, while monitoring performance against high service standards and strict fiscal goals. Our ultimate goal is to ensure The Brackish remains a premier asset for the Sun City Hilton Head community.
