BoardRoom magazine has named RealFood Hospitality, Strategy & Design (RealFood), “Food Service Strategic Planning Company of the Year” for 2022 in the publication’s 23rd annual “Excellence in Achievement” awards. In addition, BoardRoom also recognized RealFood’s parent company, Troon as “Management Company of the Year” for the ninth consecutive year; and Troon Executive Vice President Rob DeMore as the recipient of the John Fornaro Industry Impact Award.
The BoardRoom magazine “Excellence in Achievement” awards are the private club industry’s only awards recognizing the clubs’ business partners. BoardRoom magazine’s industry peers review and select outstanding suppliers and consultants, which represent various aspects of course and club operations. Winners, each year, are selected for overall excellence in their respective fields, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and continued impact on private club operations.
“The food and beverage experience is an expression of a club’s overarching brand, and we help clubs to achieve their highest potential in their unique foodservice operations,” said Ed Doyle, president of RealFood and senior vice president of Troon Food and Beverage. “The dedication, expertise and energy that our team of hospitality and design professionals bring to the industry is extraordinary in so many ways. Thank you to our industry, our partners and to our clients for their trust in us.”
RealFood is a premier strategy and foodservice design advisory firm serving the global hospitality industry, including private clubs, golf and country clubs, and resorts. RealFood is a core operating brand of Troon, which acquired the company in 2019.
“Private clubs are the beneficiary of outstanding work of the industry’s leaders, such as RealFood. We’re delighted to recognize RealFood as a first-time “Excellence in Achievement” award recipient,” said John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom magazine.
